Re: New Mail Security Certs today on www5

I thought I'd comment here as the certificates were not being trusted for me this year. On Apple Mail 5.3 (on OS 10.7.5) you have to "Show Certificate" when you get the dialogue window. Then you can select "Always Trust." Then you still have to "OK" other accounts, but ...

Imagemagick on www5 and Gallery

Hi, I am trying to see if I can get ImageMagick to resize batch images that I upload to a Gallery 2.3 installation (through an Upload Applet). First of all, is that something that will work on a shared server? Second of all, what is the path to ImageMagick? I have tried /usr/bin and /usr/share and g...

Re: Sudden decrease in spam?

Ah that makes sense. I was wondering if there was a message that had gotten deleted. Spam has been under control btw :).

Re: Sudden decrease in spam?

More weird is why did I just receive notification for this reply on October 25, 2011 (of a 2008 reply)?

Sudden decrease in spam?

Hi, The last week I have had a remarkable decrease in spam in my main account's catchall email. I have gone from something like 1-3,000 junkmails a day (most in my junkmail box) to like 300. Did you implement any new filtering software?? I have done nothing different on my end. The only other odd em...

Any comments? Can you perhaps just manually change the templates Myles? I have had several clients wondering what they need to do about this.

Customizing the Warning email message text from CPANEL

Hi Myles and others, I am wondering if you can implement this patch: http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=2626 It would allow you (but not us resellers) to customize the warning messages for disk, mail, and I think bandwidth usage near-overages. The current text for an 80% full disk space is: ...

Thanks for that. I went into the online mailbox and deleted the 800 or so spams that had accumulated in the past week. One of those messages must have been the culprit, as I was able to fetch all the mails.

Everything looks OK now.

Thanks,
Misha

Hi Myles, I believe I'm on www5, but for some reason I'm having a hard time getting mail for my main hosting account (oddly I have no problem with mail on subaccounts). It says, "Fetching new mail. Fetching 199 of 249." However it is stuck, and has been since this morning. I was wondering ...

No, I think you misunderstood my point. My question was why didn't the emails say "80% of bandwidth reached", then "90% of bandwidth reached", then "95% of bandwidth reached". I'm all for limiting bandwidth, and the system you have is fine. I just want more helpful noti...

80% of bandwidth reached messages

Hi, I just had one of my sites (on my own reseller account) go offline because it had reached its bandwidth limit. However the emails I received about this nearing thing kept on saying that "the account YourName has reached 80% of its bandwidth limit". Are you aware that this is happening?...

Bandwidth exceeded

Hi, What is prioritycolocation's policy on exceeding bandwidth? 1. Over the limit gives a message that limit has been reached and no further transfer is allowed. 2. Transfer is allowed and clients pay for extra bandwidth. What's the bandwidth cost? 3. Some combination of these so that if collegehumo...
