Reverse DNS lookup can only provide 1 hostname per IP address. As a result, for Reverse DNS to work on all your accounts, they would all need a dedicated IP.

I find it very hard to believe the Malaysian registerar would require this as it would be completely against ARIN RFC in respect to name based hosting which is supposed to be used, never IP based hosting where not required.

Yep, we do support that :)

I guess thats a new reason for a static ip, never heard of that before believe it or not, but yea, we can set up a reverse for the ip.

Also, just out of curiousity, any idea if it can be moved off the dedicated ip after you signup? would make ip conservation for resellers, etc. a lot easier as ip's are a pain and expensive in general.

Kelvin,

Yes, that logic makes perfect sense to me, should work.

They might have that system in place to prevent domain squatting (buying domains that other people will want then trying to extort large amounts of $$$ out of them to get the domain, like microsoft.my :))
