name server problem

I'm still a newbie

I published a website with Front page direct to my NS2 server IP address for programmersolutions.com.

I then went to my registrar to change my name server to ns1.programmersolutions.com. My registrar comes back with invalid name server when I try to change it.

The domain name www.programmersolutions.com has been registeerd same place for over a year (stargateinc.com) - its also hosted there right now too.

I also added a new account valuebuyers.com, published the web site to the gernated IP address and when I look at what was generated it shows ns3.prioritycolocation.com as the name server.

Where can I look first to fix the name server?

CPanel/WHM will always tell you ns3.prioritycolocation.com as it's the default and it seems to love to spit that out (it totally ignores ns4.prioritycolocation.com, dont ask me why, just only prints one).

Did you setup the nameservers on your registerar? because when i go to resolve ns1.programmersolutions.com it doesen't resolve, nor does ns2. This is somethign that must be done with your registerar.

Hope that helps :)

Just to tie the knot on this topic.

I did finally figure out where to register the name server and it appears to work fine now.

thanks :D
