04-Jun-2009 - Scheduled HVAC Maintenance 7:00am - 5:00pm EST
Posted: Thu May 28, 2009 3:02 pm
Hello Everyone,
This maintenance window is intended to notify all colocation customers that we will be performing work on our HVAC systems in the 818 suite on Thursday June 4th 2009, between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm EST.
During this maintenance, HVAC contractors will be working under the raised flooring infrastructure, and turning off units to perform necessary maintenance. As a result of this, customers can expect to see a slight loss of air flow/pressure near their cabinet intakes, and slightly higher ambient temperatures within the 818 suite.
While we do not expect this to be a service impacting maintenance, contractors will be working within the HVAC systems, and will undoubtedly cause minor fluctuations in the temperature in 818 during said work. Once concluded, this maintenance will allow us to correct several issues with relation to the air conditioning configuration in 818, namely "cold spots" occurring naturally within the room due to equipment positioning/air flow patterns, etc.
Priority Colo staff will be on-site for the duration of this maintenance, and will be happy to assist you with any issues, or questions which may arise in relation to this maintenance.
Regards,
