Please be advised of the following maintenance window:
Maintenance Window: Wednesday May 29 2013, 13:00 - 15:00 EDT
Affected Systems: www7.pcdc.net
Affected Customers: All Customers
Service Impacting: Yes - major Apache/PHP version change
Details: We will perform an upgrade on the PHP package on www7, upgrading from version 5.2.14 to version 5.3.10. Although the Apache HTTPd service must be restarted to complete the upgrade, this disruption would only last a few minutes at most.
Importantly, because this upgrade represents a major version jump, certain functions in deployed PHP code may cease to function correctly. We will endeavour to identify any common PHP platforms which may be impacted, but we highly recommend checking on any PHP web-apps, to ensure that they will be compatible (normally, the latest version is sure to be compatible.)
