lost count check

Post by hosting1 »

One of our hosting customers on your box 'trailandenduro.com' is
missing a few stats:

webalizer and aw stats are there, however, he wants analog back as well.

And 4 days stats, can you see if you have these? day 7, 8, 9, 10 of May
are missing.

Is there anything you can do about this?

Thanks,

Hello,

Not sure which server that is at a glance as thats obviously not the servers name or number. Webalizer and Awstats are here to stay, analog is gone, and never coming back (it's too problematic, goes totally run-away on large logfiles, and grinds the server down to a deathly slow pace while doing so).

For the 4 days of missing logs, it means your webpage didn't have anything written to the logfile for 4 days. If thats the case, it'd be impossible to recover the logs, as they were likely never written for a given reason, hence theres not much you can do for 4 days in May having no webstats, this could mean your domain was down (did you recently renew?), noone visited (if your page isn't very large, which may be quite unlikely in most cases), or some other reason.
