Inbound email size

Post by simeon »

Is there any way to restrict the size of inbound email?

For example, even though the mailbox may have a quota of 10 meg, anything that comes in that is over 2 meg gets rejected.

I looked in the filters but didn't see a size option.

Thank you.

Hi Simon,

To the best of my knowledge, theres no incorporated method to restrict the size of inbound emails. However you can restrict what outlook/outlook express downloads from the mailserver in the email account settings (which can be explicitly set to ignore messages larger then a given size last I checked).
