Hi Guys,

Please be advised of the following maintenance window:

Maintenance Window: Thursday October 8th 2009, 11:00pm - 3:00am EST

Affected Device: core01.tor1
Affected Customers: physically/directly connected BGP Customers
Service Impacting: No - Customer BGP sessions will remain online, though transit traffic from the rest of the network will be diverted away from this device , and we will be shutting down some TorIX peering sessions for a portion of this maintenance, as a precautionary measure.


Details:

We will be performing precautionary maintenance to the routers Access List (ACL) configurations, and enabling some currently unused Cisco features, to assist us in general network troubleshooting, Denial of Service (DoS) mitigation, and to reduce BGP convergence time. While no impact to any customer connectivity is expected, this maintenance is being issued due to the nature of the work in question.
