Scheduled Maintenance Periods - 09-Feb-12 & 10-Feb-12

Post by porcupine »

Hi Guys,

Please be advised of the following maintenance windows:

Maintenance Window: Thursday February 9th 2012, 12:00pm - 4:00pm EST
Affected Device: Suite 818 HVAC Units
Affected Customers: Facility Wide
Service Impacting: No - Precautionary Notice Only

Details: HVAC technicians will be performing routine semi-annual maintenance on the three HVAC units in suite 818. Customers should not be impacted by this operation, as the HVAC units will be worked on individually, and two units can easily sustain the necessary cooling load in the suite. This is simply a precautionary notice due to the nature of the work involved.

Maintenance Window: Friday February 10th 2012, 10:30pm - 4:00am EST
Affected Device: UPS-A, UPS-B
Affected Customers: Facility Wide
Service Impacting: No - Precautionary Notice Only

Details: The building will be performing a live load test of the diesel generators that Priority Colo receives backup power from. This will involve starting the generators, cutting commercial power to each tenant suite, and verifying that the load transfers to generator without issue, then letting the generators run for an hour or more. This is being done in preparation for the annual diesel day. We do not expect there to be any issues with this operation, but are issuing a precautionary notice due to the nature of the work involved.

Maintenance Window: Friday February 10th 2012, 11:00pm - 3:00am EST
Affected Device: TorIX Peering Connections
Affected Customers: Facility Wide
Service Impacting: Minor

Details: TorIX has scheduled maintenance on their gear, which impacts Priority Colo's connectivity to the exchange. TorIX will be removing and replacing a defective linecard, which happens to the linecard we are currently connected to. For the duration of this maintenance, Priority Colo's connection to TorIX will be offline, meaning that traffic normally destined for the exchange will simply route around the missing connections (VIA our transit routes) for the duration of this maintenance.

Regards,
