Please be advised of the following maintenance window:
Maintenance Window: Saturday October 31st, 2015, 8:00AM - 6:00PM Eastern Time
Facility: Tor1
Affected Device: backup1.tor1.prioritycolo.com
Affected Customers: Customers with backup accounts on this system
Service Impacting: Yes
Details: We will be expanding the capacity of the RAID array that powers the /array1/ device on backup1.tor1. This will involve bringing the server/backup services offline during this maintenance. All of the data from this array will be synchronized to an identical backup server in our tor2 facility before we commence, at which point /array1/ will be replaced with a new RAID6 array/filesystem, and data will be synchronized back from our tor2 facility once the new filesystem has completed its initialization.
Upon completion of this maintenance, there should be no discernible impact to customers besides an upgraded filesystem with more capacity, and improved performance. This maintenance has been intentionally scheduled to coincide with the "Diesel Day" maintenance, as Priority Colo staff will already be on-site, and monitoring services in detail, etc.
