PHP4

Post by PeteA »

Hi,

Due to PHP's imminent no-support of PHP version 4, is there any intention of upgrading the various reseller servers to PHP version 5? Was just wondering as I know that at my last job, upgrading to version 5 caused numerous issues with some scripts/pages and it would be nice to have 5 months to perform migration tests, rather than a few weeks.

thanks

We'll likely be upgrading from PHP4 to PHP5 near the end of the year. Nick will be coordinating this, and will contact resellers/shared customers with reasonable warning (a few weeks to a month) when the date/time has been decided.
