Heya Guys,

Well for anyone on WWW5, you may have noticed that your service has gotten a tad slower. This is a result of some unexpected growth of several (not just one) of the forums housed on this server, and as a result we feel this is an appropriate time to upgrade to speed performance, and prevent any avoidable downtimes that may occur as a result of the server being underpowered.

We will be upgrading the RAM in www5.prioritycolo.com on Monday, December 30th, between 9:00pm and 2:00am, it should take approximately 5-25 minutes.

This should help smooth any recent performance issues, and prevent the excessive amount of MySQL processes from grinding the server down to a halt.

Hi guys,

Well i'm less then pleased to report that the new RAM did not take. The sticks of the new RAM were not compatable with the existing RAM, so it's back to the drawing board for this plan, we'll have to stock some new RAM and then try again at a later date and time.
