www4 scheduled maintenance - 22-Nov-05

Hi guys,

We'll be taking www4.pcdc.net down for 5-15 minutes on 22-Nov-2005, between 12:00pm and 6:00pm EST for a brief hardware upgrade. www4.pcdc.net has been repeatedly overloaded in the past couple of weeks (no fault of its own, particularly a run-away script from a user that has since been removed from the system) and we feel that to best protect the reliability and stability of the system as a whole, it could use more memory. As such, we'll be adding another 1GB of DDR333 ECC/Registered memory to the www4.pcdc.net server on 22-Nov-2005, to help prevent any new resource consumption issues from cropping up.

Hi guys,

The maintenance on www4.pcdc.net was successfull, the server now has 2GB of memory. More will be added, as required (as always)
