Hi Folks,

Please be advised of the following maintenance window:

Maintenance Window: Friday November 3rd, 2023 - 11:59pm - 1:00am Eastern time
Facility: Tor1, Tor2
Affected Device(s): dwdm1.tor1, dwdm1.tor2
Affected Customers: East path wave services
Service Impacting: Yes - The work in question will bring the East DWDM path offline for several minutes.

Details: We will be performing manufacturer recommended maintenance to the DWDM units powering the East path of our 10GE wave services between the Tor1/Tor2 facilities.

While our general network connectivity between the facilities operates over a redundant pair of DWDM units (covering the East and West fiber paths), customers who purchase 10GE wave services from us between the two facilities, and have a wave on the East path, will observe a short outage (< 5 minutes) during the maintenance window.

We do not anticipate any appreciable impact to other customers during this maintenance, due to the redundancies in place.

As always, we will be carefully performing the maintenance work in question, and will use every reasonable measure to attempt to mitigate any unnecessary outages/incidents/etc.
