Hi Folks,

Please be advised of the following maintenance period(s):

Maintenance Window: Thursday 21-Mar-2024, 12:00am - 6:00am Eastern Time
Affected Device: Tor1 > Tor2 dark fiber - "East" Path (DWDM1.Tor1 & DWDM1.tor2)
Affected Customers: Customers with direct wave services between the Tor1/Tor2 facilities.
Service Impacting: Wave services - Yes / everything else - no (precautionary notice only)
Expected Impact: Wave Services - service interruption, up to 6 hours.

Details: We have received a maintenance notification from the [east path] fiber provider, indicating:

"Reason for Maintenance/Raison d'entretien: Service Provider is performing Emergency Fibre replacement, due to construction.. Please Note" This maintenance is a continuation of TTN-0007433021.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause
Expected Impact/Impact prévu: Service Affecting Activity: Any Maintenance Activity directly impacting the service(s) of customers. Service(s) are expected to go down as a result of these activities."

The provider has indicated that this maintenance is being done on an emergency basis, due to construction activities on Danforth Ave E.

Apologies on the short notice regarding this emergency maintenance window, the provider performing said maintenance only posted notice ~1 hour before our/this notice.
