Well, after the first move of schedueled maintenance went well with less then 5 minutes of downtime just over a month ago, the next bit of schedueled maintenance is here.

Cogent will be doing maintenance on some of the equipment we're patched through,and this will take place on Friday the 28th, between 3 and 7am. Our connection may be affected during this time as a result of the maintenance with either packet loss, bad ping times, or minor downtime. This is routine maintenance and previously has only resulted in 5 minutes of schedueled downtime.

Just a follow up, the maintenance by Cogent has been completed, and the window closed after 3:10 am. No downtime was experienced as a result of this maintenance, which is reflected on the network wide MRTG graphs on the members page.
