Tor2 utility provider emergency power maintenance - 21-Jun-2026 - 8:00am

Hi Folks,
Please be advised of the following maintenance window:
Maintenance Window: Sunday June 21st, 2026; 8:00AM - 6:00PM Eastern Time
Facility: Tor2
Affected Device: Utility power source
Affected Customers: All customers
Service Impacting: No - Precautionary maintenance notice
Details: We have been advised that Alectra (the Markham electrical utility provider) has scheduled emergency maintenance that will impact the Tor2 facility main power feeds: "Alectra Utilities is replacing one of their switchgears as it has been showing signs of failure."
While customers should see no direct impact to their core services resulting from this maintenance, we are issuing this precautionary notice, as the facility will be operating on generator for an extended period of time, and there will be at least two transitions to/from generator during the day.
Cabinet colocation customers should be aware of the following:
- Priority Colo staff will be on-site during all power transfers to/from generator, and for the majority of the maintenance period, and will be happy to help with any concerns (as always).
- Full un-escorted access will be available as per normal; however the landlord has indicated that they intend to park/ground the service elevators for the duration of the event, and thus customers will need to use the stairs from the building lobby.
