Some client created a subdomain but I cant seem to get the redirect right:
The subdomain is photos.chillbay.com. When I change the redirect settings this is what the result page looks like:
Sub Domain Maintenance
SubDomain Redirection
photos_chillbay.com.chillbay.com is currently being redirected to http://www.chillbay.com/4ImageCrap
And to no surprise, it does not work .. (nor does photos_chillbay.com.chillbay.com) .. .Any clue hwat I did wrong?

Hrm,
Chances are then that it didn't add the entry in the DNS zone properly. Try to edit the DNS zone if it's not your main account and check for the entry, if it's not there, plop it down into the DNS zone. If that doesen't help, feel free to toss open a helpdesk ticket and we'll look at it in detail.

Why not? IS it the way you set them (you = client) or is it something the server should do?porcupine wrote:Hrm,

Where? In WHM I suppose? I found the setting, but there aren't any subdomains listed. Shoulh I do it using a CNAME? I am not really familiar with this, + I would love to see CPanel handle this since manually setting up any subdomain for a client isn't something I look forward to. Am I the only one having problems with this?Try to edit the DNS zone if it's not your main account and check for the entry,
Btw I noticed almost all entries in the first column are emtpy, which seems weird. (there are 2 CNames (14400) to chillbay.com, those might be the subdomains that dont work).
