Download a SQL DB Backup doesn't work

After logging into cPanel and clicking Backups -> Download a SQL DB Backup, i get the following error in the gz file.

mysqldump: Got error: 1045: Access denied for user: 'union@localhost' (Using password: YES) when trying to connect
‹ ïR4?          

this error occurs in all mysql databases i try.
