How may secure server (SSL) be used here for e-commerce?

Post by Rayg »

Is there any "shared" option? I know from reading the forum that we probably have the ability to obtain an SSL certificate and buy an additional IP for the site. That's great, I'm just wondering if it is the only option. I realize it may be the best.

You can always get your own "Free" SSL Certificates generated, which will work, but warn the user connecting that they are not fully authenticated. We do not provide shared SSL for our servers, for a variety of reasons, true SSL (Real Certificates) are of course supported though.
