05-Dec-2004 - New Carrier - T-systems
Posted: Sun Dec 05, 2004 6:37 am
Hello Everyone,
We've recently been in a few negotiations, with the intent to further diversfy our network. We're in the final phases of signing, and deploying an additional new carrier, T-systems (Deutsche Telekom). T-systems is one of the lartest carriers in Europe, and this additional will signifigantly improve transit routes throughout Western Europe, and parts of Asia.
We expect to bring the new T-systems link live in early January.
This new link will be evenly distributed with our existing traffic routes, and as always, BGP will direct traffic towards the shortest possible path/route.
Once the addition of T-systems to our network has been completed, we will have even routing over the following transit providers (for anyone who hasn't been keeping up, and needs a re-cap):
- Peer1
- Network Access Corp. (NAC)
- Teleglobe
- T-systems
- 30+ Private Peers over TorIX (Toronto Internet Exchange)
If anyone has any questions, please direct them to admin@prioritycolo.com, and I hope you enjoy our latest efforts to further our network diversity, speed, and value .
Regards,
