Hi Guys,
Please be advised of the following maintenance windows:
Maintenance Window: Friday May 13th 2011, 12:01am - 3:30am Eastern Time
Affected Device: dist01.tor1
Affected Customers: physically connected customers
Service Impacting: Yes - connected customers can expect to see short periods of latency and packet loss during this maintenance window.
Maintenance Window: Saturday May 14th 2011, 12:01am - 3:30am Eastern Time
Affected Device: dist02.tor1
Affected Customers: physically connected customers
Service Impacting: Yes - connected customers can expect to see short periods of latency and packet loss during this maintenance window.
Details: As per the postmortem regarding the 04-May-2011, and 06-May-2011 network incidents, we will be using this maintenance window to implement policers, and QoS features to help protect the networks distribution layer in the event of future attacks. Priority Colo staff will also be onsite, replacing the fans in each distribution router with new high speed fan trays in preparation for the new supervisor cards.
