Hi Guys,
Please be advised of the following maintenance window:
Maintenance Window: Saturday November 19th 2011, 12:01am - 4:00am Eastern Standard Time
Affected Device: dist01.tor1
Affected Customers: physically connected customers
Service Impacting: Yes - connected customers can expect to see short periods of packet loss during this maintenance window.
Details: We will be upgrading several linecards in the dist01.tor1 distribution router. We will be adding a 10 gigabit linecard, replacing several of the gigabit linecards, and replacing the sup2 supervisor engine, with a sup720 supervisor engine.
Because the supervisor engine is being replaced, the dist01.tor1 distribution router will need to be shut down, and restarted with the new supervisor card in place. Customers who are directly connected to this device (including the reseller server customers) can expect to see 1-3 short interruptions in service, totaling an estimated 15 to 20 minutes of downtime while the chassis is rebooted, cards are re-seated, and cables are shifted around to accommodate the new linecards, etc.
