Just looking through the logs now, when you say "98% cpu intensive" where are you getting that figure from?
I know some people believe that load averages stop at 1.0 and anything over it is queing, and so they see a load average of 0.98 and figure thats 98% of cpu in use, which is of course incorrect.
If this is how you are judging cpu utilization, don't as it's incorrect, instead login to the server through SSH, and type the command "top" it shows current processes, cpu load, load averages, etc. As shown here:
(as you see, with a load average of 1.56, the cpu is 63% idle)
I'm currently logged into the server (have been all night) as are 2 other users currently, and it's working fine, im looking through the logfiles, but i don't see any direct indications of problems here, and haven't had any other reports of problems (and i just checked the links, and they all work fine).
Not saying you didn't experience problems, just saying i don't even see a trace of any right now.
Anyhow, let me know if you're still having problems. If you want me to look for activity from your account seperately (instead of the whole server) let me know what your username is within the next 24 hours (otherwise it gets too far back in the logfiles to easily do so).
Also I cannot get into the reseller or cpanel on www2 - i get a cannot find server?
Ahh well thats why then
you said CPU usage at first, not memory usage:
It looks like the last 2 hours it was 98% CPU intensive.
The chart is completely normal. Theres nothing wrong with the server having 90-100% memory usage, and there is no reason for concern in that, i would be concerned if the swap was in use at such levels, or anything over 20% for that matter.
Typically redhat will reserve large amounts of memory, so will CPanel, etc. To tell if theres an issue (if all the RAM is genuinely used for example), you just look at the swap usage as swap gets cut into after the memory has been used.
If you're using the links off the members page there should be no issue, i've just logged in from a different location without issue:
If you're trying to use another URL to get there and it's not working then i can look into it, but i can assure you, there is nothing wrong with the control panels at this time as multiple users have been in/out all day long, along with myself
Let me know if you have problems from home, i checked from a few different connects and connected fine, checked the logs, noticed others were logged in as well, etc. so i figure it must be ok .
