Secondary DNS scheduled maintenance - April 10th 2025

Hi Folks,

Please be advised of the following maintenance window:

Maintenance Window: Thursday April 10th 2025, 11:00pm - Friday April 11th 2025 4:00am Eastern time
Facility: N/A
Affected Device(s): ns2.prioritycolo.com [204.15.192.2], monitoring.prioritycolo.com
Affected Services: Secondary forward-resolving DNS [204.15.192.2], Port-Monitoring, NTP2.prioritycolo.com
Service Impacting: Yes - These services will experience several brief periods of unavailability during the maintenance window in question.

Details: We will be replacing the physical server which hosts the aforementioned services, with newer hardware, running a newer operating system.

The replacement server has already been deployed, configured, etc., but the services in question must be stopped during a maintenance window to allow for various contents to be synchronized between the old and new server, before the new server takes over hosting of these services.

While these services are offline, impact should be minimal, since we deploy both DNS, and NTP with redundant servers in place, and anyone using our forward resolving DNS, and/or NTP servers should already be using the redundant pair to the respective system [204.11.48.2 & 204.15.192.2 for DNS, and 204.11.48.3 & 204.15.192.3 for NTP].

Please note the DNS in question does not host any customer domains, and is used for secondary resolving only.
