New Mail Security Certs today on www5

Post by sbrook »

I get my mail users snagged on this one annually when they use SSL or STARTTLS :-) It happens infrequently enough that I have to go troubleshooting!

Yep, once a year the CPanel/WHM certificates get re-signed :).

Usually it's actually around 11 months, since the old ones expire in 12 months, and nobody likes "broken" (expired) certificates popping up warnings.

I thought I'd comment here as the certificates were not being trusted for me this year. On Apple Mail 5.3 (on OS 10.7.5) you have to "Show Certificate" when you get the dialogue window. Then you can select "Always Trust." Then you still have to "OK" other accounts, but that is just a one-time thing.
